About
(they/them)
I develop stagings of established texts and pieces of new writing to excite, move and change audiences. I am drawn to stories about connection and identity, and am fuelled by collaborative processes with professional and non-professional performers and makers.
Previously, I was resident assistant director at the Manchester Royal Exchange theatre; and co-director of Spellbound Theatrical Productions - a company which worked with charities to engage communities through creativity, and stage theatrical events that fundraise for important causes.
I am currently developing 'PUBLIC: The Musical' as part of muscial theatre collective, Stroud & Notes. PUBLIC was winner of the 2023 Charlie Hartill Reserve, VAULT Origins Award and Runner Up of the BBC Popcorn Prize.
I am a script reader for the Bruntwood Prize, and have also read for the Hope Mill Theatre and Hampstead Theatre.
