About
(they/them)
I develop stagings of established texts and pieces of new writing to excite, move and change audiences. I am drawn to stories about connection and identity, and am fuelled by collaborative processes with professional and non-professional performers and makers.
Previously, I was trainee assistant director at the Manchester Royal Exchange theatre; and co-director of Spellbound Theatrical Productions - a company which worked with charities to engage communities through creativity, and stage theatrical events that fundraise for important causes.
Currently, I am developing 'PUBLIC: The Musical' as part of musical theatre collective, Stroud & Notes (winner of the 2023 Charlie Hartill Reserve, VAULT Origins Award and Runner Up of the BBC Popcorn Prize) and have supported '42 Balloons' (WhatsOnStage Nominee for Best New Musical and Best Regional Production) and 'Diary of a Gay Disaster' (WhatsOnStageNominee for Best Studio Production).
I am a script reader for the Bruntwood Prize, and have also read for the Hope Mill Theatre and Hampstead Theatre.
